Where’s the new talent at?

Ok so I have to be honest. I haven’t found any NEW bands or musicians that I loooove lately. I’ve found and been introduced to a bunch of people that are good, but nothing when compared to The Weepies, Mindy Smith, Edwin McCain, Roman Candle Band or other monumentally amazing music. And I keep telling myself their newbies so they won’t be as good, but seriously? I mean, Mindy Smith’s first album kicked major butt just like many others. So I’ve just been listening to new music from old or “experienced” artists. Which is great don’t get me wrong, but I like to hear new people. I feel like I keep listening to a bunch of people that all sound the same with no passion to them. Nothing I’ve heard is good enough for me to buy and listen to until my ears bleed. Very saddening. And maybe I’m listening to too much lately. That could be the problem. I went to IHeartRadio the other day to see if I could find some good stuff and it was all bubblegum. So as I continue to look for inspiring music, I would LOVE it if you could send me anyone you find. In the mean time, I’ve linked below to some newly released cd’s by some very experienced and talented people. I haven’t listened to them yet so I can’t endorse, but they’ve had great reviews.
